This year is the sixtieth anniversary of the publication of Monica Edwards' Black Hunting Whip.
Our walk will look at the locations of this much loved book, as the first of the Punchbowl Series reaches its great Birthday.
To celebrate the special occasion you are invited to bring a cream cake, pastry or scones, and join a picnic.
The picnic will take place at the end of our walk at Thursley Cricket Field, where you may park your car for the day.
If any fan feels that they can not manage the walk, they would be very welcome to join us for the picnic only.
Please contact me for details.
The walk sets off from Thursley Church Stile at 10.30am.
William.

A cream tea is surely the most appropriate way to honour the author and her Punchbowl novel.
Please bring along any spare copies of the books that you would be willing to swap during the picnic.
