The Second Companion
This beautiful book is the natural successor to Brian's delightful Punchbowl Companion published the previous year.

Like its predecessor it is filled with illustrations, not just from the fifteen Romney Marsh books but from a wide variety of other sources. With a larger number of books to consider this book is half as big again as the first.

The book is printed on A4 paper, in landscape format and comb-bound. There are 292 pages, virtually all with illustrations; all the books have their first edition wrappers illustrated in colour; as with the previous volume the index is exhaustive; every character, place and animal mentioned has its page references listed.

New Edition 2006
Girls Gone By Publishers are bringing out a new edition, expanded and with new illustrations as a paperback, expected to be published in July 2006.
